One Sweet Nursery...Fit for a..CHESSIE GIRL

So, we hit the road for a weekend of nursery decorating(and baby showering, family, & friends) ..and I will say that the end result is just precious.  Lots of pics to prove it.  Kelly was the artist.  Carrie was the organizer.  I was the crafter.  But really, so many people made this room redo possible.  Chessie is BLESSED...with a beautiful nursery..for starters!

Carrie and I crafted the pennant banner for Cassie's first shower AND Kristen made these tissue paper pompoms for this past weekend's shower.
Bedding picked out by Cass - given with love by MiMi.
New crib given by paternal grandparents.

I actually painted the birdie on two canvas boards.  He came from the crib bedding.
Chessie's Daddy, Shawn, put so much hard work into this very old dresser.  Stripping, sanding, and repainting TWO tone.  Isn't it AWESOME!?
Kelly never ceases to AMAZE.  She started midday Sunday and finished at midnight.  She made great time :)
Ellyana's changing table being passed along..
Had to sneak the cousins in there.. I upcycled a frame in a jiffy to match the room.

I loved seeing everything come together.  And I'll have to say..it happened pretty quickly.  While Mom and I picked out the paint colors weeks ago, and Shawn already had the base color of the walls painted - the room was a blank canvas..so in one day it was transformed.  We brought along some pre-made projects, but came up with new ones along the way, too. I didn't get a picture of the closet, but it is big and organized to the T.  All ready for Baby Chessie!  Meet you soon, Sweet Baby Girl xoxo
